Segue of Seasons

A seasonal timeline in Crochet

I picked up crochet during the pandemic and found that it relieved me a lot. Slowly, it evolved into me going around with a needle everywhere in hand. This collection of crochet pieces including garments and lifestyle accessories is a slow collection that I made in the months progressing from September 2022 to May 2023. As the seasons progressed, my yarn colours and thicknesses changed, and an entire collection evolved quite organically. It consists of eco- conscious  natural dyed scarfs to blended yarns being used for lifestyle accessories. Acrylic has been purposely avoided and  as far as possible, natural yarns have been used.

Way With Words

I have always had a way with words, since my childhood, when I used to be able to spin long stories in seconds for school essays. Slowly, that evolved with me reading a lot, and by 14, I used to write short poems which have only evolved with time. Read on to find a smattering of poems across subjects

The Gardens of Monet

The Gardens of Monet scarf is a xrochet piece rooted in nature.

It is a textile memorabilia based on Claude Monet’s house in Giverny, France and Impressionism paintings.

Made with the moss stitch and adorned with the loop stitch for the grass and ferns with small wisteria pieces, it is an avant-garde output that follows the principle of layering and surface crochet.

Filled with the flowers that Monet grew in his gardens, it is aptly named after Clos Normand- The Gardens of Monet.
